A. Pierre Bamdad, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I. Dr. Bamdad is the founder and President of the Heart Institute of Northwest Ohio, Inc. and has been in practice of general, non-invasive, invasive and interventional cardiology in Lima since 1994. A graduate of the Paris Medical School, Dr. Bamdad completed his internship and residency at Michigan State University. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Wright State University. He started his cardiology practice in Dayton Ohio in 1986 with Dr. Sylvan Lee Weinberg. Dr. Bamdad was also an associate professor at Wright State University while practicing cardiology in Dayton.

Mehran Arabpour, D.O. ,F.A.C.C Dr. Arabpour is an honor graduate of NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and completed his residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, N.J. where he was Chief Medical Resident. He joined the Heart Institute after spending nearly five years at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, N.J. While there, he served as Chief Interventional Fellow, and received extensive training in cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting and other cardiac procedures.

Pamela Gardner, D.O., F.A.C.C Dr. Gardner is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed her Cardiology Fellowship at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. Prior to medical school, Dr. Gardner worked as a cardiovascualr nurse. In her practice of non-interventional general cardiology, Dr. Gardner's main focus is Congestive Heart Failure and Women's Cardiovascular Health; including high-risk pregnancies in women.

Paul Anike, D.O., F.A.C.C. Dr. Anike is a graduate of Michigan State University, College of Medicine and completed his residency at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Prior to joining the Heart Institute, Dr. Anike spent five years as a cardiology fellow at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey where he received extensive training in clinical cardiology cardiovascular disease. His subspecialty is Nuclear and Interventional Cardiology.

Venkat Battula, M.D.,F.A.C.C.,F.A.C.P. After graduating from the Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Battula completed his residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. He has spent a great deal of time in clinical research and has published numerous articles on a variety of cardiology topics. Prior to joining the Heart Institute, Dr. Battula was a Cardiology Fellow and clinical assistant instructor at the New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn.

Ebere Ugwanyi, M.D, F.A.C.C. After graduating from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, Dr. Ugwanyi completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency and a Cardiology Fellowship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Heart Institute Dr. Ugwanyi was in private practice in Maryland and North Carolina. His major interests are in preventative cardiology, heart failure and congenital heart disease.

Ronald R. Magee, M.D Dr. Magee is a graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in Missouri and completed his residency at Brown University in Rhode Island. He completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Harvard University Massachusetts General Hospital in Massachusetts. Board Certified in Vascular Surgery, His main focus is Endovascular and Vascular Surgeries.
